Social games

In Uncategorized on 2010-02-17 by Kyle Maxwell

Social games feel natural: we prefer to play with our friends than
with PUGs, and even guilds and such are glorified PUGs when compared
to people we already know in some sense. And games hit a number of
interesting motivation drivers for us, so social networks will keep
becoming more game-like (cf. Foursquare).

So when will we see more traction in non-Facebook-based games? Does
the spammy design that places like Spymaster had kill the future for
other Twitter-based social games?

Dunno but I think we have a lot of room to grow and experiment here.
